This one does something narrower and duller: it sets out what the operators’ own documents say, what India’s statutes say, and which widely repeated figures turn out to have no source at all.

Every number below comes from a document that was opened and can be quoted — an operator’s terms with its clause number, a licence register entry, or a section of Indian law. Where a document says nothing, this page says so instead of filling the gap.

There are no accounts at any operator behind this site and no deposits have been made, so nothing here is written as experience. It is written as reading.

What actually happens when money moves to a crypto casino?

It changes hands six times, and a different company holds it at each handover. Rupees leave a bank account for an exchange; the exchange converts them into a coin at its own quoted rate; the coin moves to a wallet the user controls; it crosses a blockchain to an address the operator supplies; the operator credits an internal balance in a unit it chooses; and on the way out every step runs backwards at different rates and fees.

Twelve points on a round trip at which a value can change, and exactly one of them is the game.

Only the fifth step is invisible from outside. The bank keeps a statement, the exchange keeps a reporting record, the chain keeps a transaction — the operator’s balance exists only in the operator’s own ledger. Each hop, with what is deducted and what is recorded, is walked through on our page about the rupee route.

What does “no-KYC” actually mean in these documents?

Far less than the phrase suggests. Across a reference library of 100 crypto casino brands, an identity-verification clause was readable at 49 of them. All 49 reserve the right to request documents, and not one limits that right to a stated situation. None of the 49 says the operator will not ask.

Five brands out of the hundred state an amount at all:

Brand

Stated figure

Clause

Bitcasino.io

€2,500 or crypto equivalent

6.6

Sportsbet.io

€2,500 or crypto equivalent

6.6

Livecasino.io

€2,500 or crypto equivalent

6.6

Rocketpot

$2,500, or 0.05 BTC

11.4

Empire.io

2,000 USDT or equivalent

5.4

A round figure in the region of $5,000 circulates across comparison sites as the point where crypto casinos begin asking for documents. It appears in none of the 49 clauses as a general threshold. An earlier version of this page carried that figure, and it has been removed because no document we opened supports it.

The figures that do exist are hedged in their own text. The €2,500 clauses add that smaller withdrawals may also be checked; Rocketpot’s names a second figure of $2,000 for additional checks. A stated threshold in these documents is a floor above which a check becomes likely, never a ceiling below which one is ruled out.

Twenty-seven of the 49 clauses carry a number a reader can quote back; the other 22 sit in unnumbered policy pages that can be rewritten without notice. Where the request lands in the route is set out on our page about document requests.

What this site checks at each brand, and how often it finds anything

Seven fields, read from the operator’s own documents or from the register of the authority that issued its licence. The coverage is the finding:

Field

Brands out of 100 that publish it

Licence number and register status

68

Identity-verification clause

49

List of restricted countries

38

List of game providers

33

List of accepted coins

30

Withdrawal ceiling

14

Year the operator says it started

11

Seven hundred cells, 243 of them filled. The rest are fields where the document is silent, and they are marked as silent rather than smoothed over.

An empty field means one thing only: it was not read. It never means “no limit”, “no verification” or “no restriction”. The brand that publishes nothing looks cleaner in a table than the brand that published a hard cap with a clause number, which is exactly why an empty field is never treated as a merit here.

The documents were read on 26 August 2026. Of the hundred brands, 38 served their pages live, 41 had to be read from an archived copy of the same pages, and 21 did not open at all — no figure is published about those 21.

Which brands are referenced here, and what the register says about them

The table below is a reference, not a recommendation, and it deliberately carries no sign-up links or promotional calls to action. It lists what the licence register returned and what the operator’s own documents contained.

Brand

Licence number in the register

Register status

Founding year in its own documents

Vave

OGL/2024/1676/0905

Active

not stated

Stake

OGL/2024/1451/0918

Active

not stated

BitStarz

OGL/2024/165/0185

Active

not stated

BC.Game

OGL/2023/118/0060

Revoked

not stated

Cloudbet

OGL/2024/328/0599

Active

2013

TrustDice

OGL/2024/664/0280

Active

not stated

Founding years are the clearest test of where a figure comes from. Eleven brands out of a hundred publish one; the dates attached to the rest across comparison tables — 2014, 2017, 2019 — are second-hand, so they are absent here. Cloudbet is the only brand in this table that states its own.

One entry in the table carries a revoked status. It is one of five brands in the library whose licence number is recorded as revoked, and three of those five share a single revoked number between them — which happens because a register lists a company, not a signboard. Sixty-eight published licence numbers resolve to only 53 distinct registrations, and nine registrations cover 24 brands at once.

Six of the 38 readable restricted-country lists name India. None of them belongs to a brand in the table above, whose lists were either very short or could not be read at all — which is a statement about what was readable, not a statement that those brands accept anybody.

What to understand before anything else

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 came into force on 1 May 2026, and it addresses the offering and advertising of online money games. Its practical application is early and unsettled.

Tax provisions operate independently of that Act. A charge under a tax provision is not a permission under any other law, and the two must never be read as answering each other.

“No-KYC” describes a verification policy, not a legal status. A brand’s verification clause changes nothing about the statute.

Gambling is a State subject under Entry 34, List II of the Constitution, and the central Public Gambling Act, 1867 predates online play entirely. State positions and the national framework are separate layers, and neither cancels the other.

A withdrawal ceiling is arithmetic, not a refusal. A payout larger than a published cap returns in instalments across periods.

What does the law say, and what this page will not conclude from it

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 is a central statute that came into force on 1 May 2026. It defines online money games and provides for penalties in respect of offering and advertising them. Alongside it sits the older State-by-State picture: gambling is Entry 34 of List II of the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution, the Public Gambling Act, 1867 remains on the books from a period long before online play existed, and individual States have legislated in different directions over the years.

That is the text. This page states what the provisions say and stops there.

It draws no conclusion that any activity is therefore permitted, for any reader, in any State. It gives no method for reaching a platform, avoiding a check, or presenting a location as anything other than what it is. Where a question turns on a person’s own circumstances, the answer belongs to a lawyer and not to a comparison site. Nothing on this page is legal advice.

Which tax provisions attach to money on this route?

Four, sitting in three different statutes and computed on three different bases. Section 115BBJ of the Income-tax Act charges income by way of winnings from any online game at a flat 30 per cent, on net winnings rather than gross receipts, with no basic exemption; surcharge and cess apply on top. Net winnings are computed by formula under Rule 133 of the Income-tax Rules, which works on the account rather than the session — a balance left sitting at 31 March counts as though withdrawn.

Section 194BA obliges the person paying the winnings to deduct tax at source at 30 per cent, at withdrawal and again at year end, with no minimum threshold. Section 194S deducts 1 per cent on consideration for the transfer of a virtual digital asset once the annual value crosses ₹10,000, or ₹50,000 for specified persons; that one attaches to the conversion step rather than to the game. Section 115BBH charges income from a VDA transfer at 30 per cent, allowing only the cost of acquisition and permitting no set-off of losses, against other coins or against any other head.

Separately, GST attaches to the deposit and not to the winnings: Rule 31B of the CGST Rules values the supply on the total amount deposited with the supplier, at 28 per cent, irrespective of whether the activity is characterised as skill or chance.

None of those four nets against the others. They are separate charges, under separate laws, on separate events. Each is set out with its computation on our page about tax on money from online games. This is not tax advice, and a chartered accountant is the right place to take a real figure.

Frequently asked questions

At what amount does a crypto casino ask for identity documents?

In 44 of the 49 verification clauses read, no amount is stated at all — the right to ask is unconditional. The five that state one give €2,500 under clause 6.6, $2,500 under clause 11.4 and 2,000 USDT under clause 5.4. No clause read names a general threshold near $5,000.

How much can be withdrawn at once?

Fourteen brands out of a hundred publish a ceiling, and the figures run from 4,000 euro a day to 1,000,000 USDT a week, in four different periods and four different currencies. The other 86 publish nothing. The full table is on our page about withdrawal limits.

Does the coin or the network matter more?

The network. The same nominal coin can travel over more than one, the fee and the wait differ by network, and sending on a network the receiving side does not support is the commonest way funds are lost at that step. Only 30 brands publish which coins they take, in lists running from one coin to forty; see networks and confirmations.

Why does a balance shrink between deposit and payout even without playing?

Because twelve of the fourteen published ceilings are written in euro or dollars while the balance itself sits in a coin, and no clause read states which rate converts them. That gap is the subject of our page on the rate between deposit and withdrawal.

Is stablecoin play different in India?

Mechanically yes, legally no. A stablecoin removes price movement from the balance but does not touch section 194S, section 115BBH or the 2025 Act, all of which apply to the transfer and the activity rather than to the coin’s volatility. The verification and coin questions are covered on our USDT and verification guide, and the Bitcoin-specific mechanics on our Bitcoin casinos guide.

18+. This page is informational and does not constitute legal, financial or tax advice. Given how recent India’s framework for online money gaming is, independent legal guidance on an individual situation is worth more than any comparison table, including this one.

Search for crypto casinos in India and you will find dozens of pages listing bonuses and sign-up links.
