Clause numbers and policy pages: what a reader can cite

What a clause number adds to a term

A clause number is an address. It names one sentence inside a longer document so a later version can be checked against an earlier one. When an operator replaces its terms, clause 6.6 from the old document can be set beside clause 6.6 from the new one. A paragraph with no number cannot be identified that way.

The library for this site holds terms pages for a hundred casino brands, and the identity provision was found and read at 49 of them. All 49 reserve the right to request documents at the operator’s own discretion. Not one promises never to ask. The first distinction between those provisions is numbering: 27 carry a clause reference a reader can quote back, and 22 sit on policy pages with no reference at all.

The policy pages with no number at all

The other group of 22 has no stable address for its identity requirement. The names include BitStarz, Bitdreams, CoinPoker, CryptoLeo, Thunderpick, Wild.io, CryptoGames, FortuneJack, Bitkingz, Bspin, Primedice and LeeBet. Those pages carry the same kind of request but give the sentence no number and no title of its own.

An unnumbered policy page is a single URL whose contents can be replaced. Once the replacement is made, the old wording has no separate existence. A reader who copied the text before the change can produce a screenshot, but a screenshot records a moment, not a place in current terms. Numbered clauses let a reader ask the operator what happened to clause 11.4. An unnumbered page makes that question impossible to frame.

This difference matters when a document request arrives and the balance is held. The operator’s message usually refers to verification. The reader wants to know what the terms said when the account was opened. With a number, the answer can be found and compared. The five clauses that state a figure

Only five of the 49 provisions put a number on the right to ask. Three of them come from one shared document. Bitcasino.io, Sportsbet.io and Livecasino.io carry clause 6.6 word for word with a figure of EUR 2,500. Rocketpot has clause 11.4 with USD 2,500 or 0.05 BTC. Empire.io has clause 5.4 with 2,000 USDT or the crypto equivalent. No sixth threshold appears in any of the 49.

Those five are part of the group of 27, but they are the exception. The remaining 44 identity clauses reserve the right to ask without stating a trigger amount. Verification may begin at whatever point the operator decides, and no published figure can be quoted back in a dispute.

Sharing a clause number word for word tells the same story as sharing a register entry. Across the library, 68 brands print a licence number and 53 distinct numbers are on record, so nine numbers cover 24 brands. One Anjouan registration, ALSI-202508056-FI2, held by Novatrix SRL, is printed by Oshi Casino, PlayAmo, Slotum, Winz.io and Bitkingz. A shared clause and a shared registration both point back to one counterparty, not several.

What the reading covers, and what it did not reach

This page is built from a library of 100 brands read on 26 August 2026. On that day 38 documents opened from their live URLs, 41 were read from an archived copy of the same page, and 21 could not be opened. A further 22 brands were unreachable altogether and carry no assessment.

Archived readings carry a particular caution. An archived copy may show a clause that has since been replaced, and the operator is not obliged to keep the older version visible. The logging method marks which reading produced each figure. It does not present all 100 as fresh on the day a reader arrives.

An empty cell is not a finding. Across the library, seven fields were assessed for each of a hundred brands, making 700 possible cells, and 243 of those cells were filled. An unread licence register leaves the licence cell empty; it does not prove that the operator has no licence. What a clause number does not prove

A clause number is a label, not a verdict. It does not make the clause fair, and it does not mean the operator will follow it. It does not guarantee the same clause will appear next year. It provides something smaller: the sentence has a name. ‘Clause 5.4’ is a precise reference. ‘The verification paragraph’ is not.

All 49 identity clauses, numbered or not, contain the right to ask for documents at the operator’s discretion. There is no evidence that unnumbered clauses are harsher or numbered clauses kinder. The right is the same on both sides of the split. What changes is the ease with which a reader can hold the operator to the sentence that was displayed.

This limit matters because a clause reference can be treated as a guarantee of good behaviour. It is not. A redesign can remove or renumber a clause, and the old number will lead nowhere. The honest value of the number appears just after an account is opened: if a reader records clause 5.4 on that day, there is an address to check later. So before depositing, read the identity or verification page and decide whether it has a clause number. If it does, keep a note of the number beside the deposit. If it does not, note that the page has no permanent label and treat every later version as a new page. That distinction is the only form of evidence a reader can carry out of these terms.
